At age 43, Andrea “Andy” Sealy wants to live. But after a double mastectomy, many other surgeries and multiple rounds of chemotherapy and radiation to treat stage 4 metastatic breast cancer since 2017, the Philadelphia resident said she doesn’t expect to win this fight.

Instead, Sealy and another cancer patient from Delaware are waging a legal battle for the right to die on their own terms using New Jersey’s medical aid in dying law.
